A Bit Of A Disappointment.

Not a big deal, though.

I finally decided what I wanted to play next. I haven’t actually gotten around to it, though.

After three months, I decided it was time to play Fallout 4 again. I guess the videos got me thinking. So, I decided to fire it up, and it crashed. Then it crashed again. I updated ENB and F4SE, and it still crashed. I don’t know what was causing it. It shouldn’t have been any mods, since they weren’t even loaded yet.

So, I blew away the install. I made a copy of my DATA folder, though, so I had all the mods I had before. Then I reinstalled Fallout 4, which meant a few hours of downloading from Steam. Then I reinstalled F4SE, though I didn’t add ENB this time.

Then I started thinking about mods. I had a whole lot of them before. A whole lot. I decided not to use them all this time, though. I did add in my two files, which should be okay, but I’m not sure. We will see. Anyways, I added those, and several more mods, most of which I had before, but not all. I did make sure to update the ones I was going to use, if they needed to be updated. Some didn’t.

Now, I have like 30 mods, or something like that. Way down from the max that I was just about at before. That should make things run a bit smoother now. Or at least not crash so much, that would be nice.

So, now I just have to play it, but I’m having problems with the cats being all up in my business for most of the day. I’m probably lucky that I have time to type this up right now. You see, I am wrapped up in an old comforter right now, and apparently, the cats are big fans of that, and they barely leave me alone.

Speaking of warmth, I did finally turn on the furnace. It’s a few days before I wanted to, but it’s pretty damn cold out today, and it’s not going to get better, really, since it’s the end of October.

I did get a little bit of gaming in yesterday, though. Cable and I played 7 Days To Die for a bit. It’s a lot different than it used to be. We’ll see how I feel about it after I play a bit more. I’ve noticed that there’s not as many zombies in one place as there used to be. I guess the difficulty levels actually work now. I don’t think they used to, but I could be wrong.

I think that’s about all I have for now. At this point, I may look at a few more Fallout 4 mods, but I’m not sure yet. I can kinda do that with a cat in my way, but it’s not easy, and it’s impossible to play anything with them on me.

At any rate, that’s all for now, so I will shuffle off.
