Well, it would be, if I had really played that many games that came out this year. At least for any appreciable amount of time. I think I played three or four games that came out this year, and that’s about it. I mean, I did spend most of the summer playing Fallout: New Vegas, after all. Sure, I had time to play other games, but usually, I didn’t. I still think it’s the depression that keeps me from doing that too much. I’m going to try and work hard on that in 2016. So, my top games of 2015 list is smaller than I would like. In no particular order, they are:
- Fallout 4
- Cities: Skylines
- Pillars Of Eternity
I think those are the only ones that I really played for any length of time this year. Of course, I also have a list of games from 2015 that I want to get played in 2016. I either never got around to them, or with some of them, I just recently picked up during the current Steam Winter Sale. Again, in no particular order, they are:
- The Witcher 3
- Super Mario Maker
- Dying Light
- Life Is Strange
- Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition
- D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die*
- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker
- Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
- LEGO Worlds
*The Windows version didn’t come out until 2015, so I think it’s okay to add here.
So, there’s a few games that I played from this year that I liked, and probably the top ten that I want to play from this year that I actually own, but haven’t gotten to yet. There are probably other deserving games that I don’t have at this time that could go on that list, but I’m only using what I have now.
