So, my friend and I played Torchlight II for a while tonight. We played about 5 minutes and ended up starting over, because he didn’t like his character. So, we’re starting from the beginning again. I suppose that’s not a big deal, since we were still in Act I. I picked Outlander, and am specializing in Shotgonnes. He picked Berzerker and is punching things in the face. It’s an interesting combination. I’ve mostly been putting points in passives so far, though I do have a couple active skills, as well. It’s working okay, so far, but I need a weapon upgrade. I have one in my stash, but I can’t use it for like three or four more levels. The one I have I got at level 3, and it’s losing it’s potency.
After we got done with that for the night, I played Mini Metro for a little while, and had a good time, as usual. I beat my high scores in a few cities, though not by much on a couple of them. Hey, progress is progress. It was kinda funny, because right as I went to start the game, it started downloading an update. I thought that was kinda funny. It only took a few seconds, because unlike the Wii U, Steam isn’t shitty at data delivery.
That’s where we are right now. I’m not sure what I’m going to spend the rest of the evening doing. Probably watch some wrestling. I should break out the Kindle and see if the latest PC Gamer is on there. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve had it on, so there’s probably a new one by now. Not to mention all the books that I have on the thing. Hehe. I love technology. I may end up going to bed a little early, because maintenance was here early(for me) this morning to check out the baseboard heaters. I don’t know why they decided to do it in the middle of winter and not before it got cold out. I’m also not sure why they haven’t done it before now in the two and a half years that I’ve been here. Whatever. Anyways, I got woken up by them and had a hard time trying to sleep after that, so I may get tired early. We shall see. I may go to bed early anyways, since I’ll be out a little late tomorrow night. For some reason, the jail lets people out at four in the morning, so I’ll be doing that tomorrow night. Maybe I’ll go bust out the heating pad and see if that helps my back any. It can’t hurt, certainly.
