A tiny bit of preaching.

So, I saw this headline on my local news website today: “Supreme Court sets stage for historic gay rights ruling.” I say it’s about fucking time they did. They’re finally going to decide for the whole nation whether gays and lesbians have the right to wed. To me, this is a no-brainer. Of course they should. I mean, come on. I was kinda paying attention in high school when we covered the constitution. I don’t remember ‘except for _____’ being in there anywhere, and I’m positive that there’s no amendment about the right to wed anyways. I don’t see how this is even an issue, really. They’re regular guys and gals just like straight people. “OH! But religion says it’s wrong!” Some religions also say to not eat pork, but I see you with that chop on your plate! Besides, bacon is delicious, and any religion that says you can’t eat bacon is clearly wrong. And just look at the facts, it’s the 21st century now, even the Pope has commented in a positive manner about gay rights. Besides, they should be able to be divorced and miserable just like us straight people. The only problem that I have with it, is that they’re not going to bring it up until April, and probably not rule on it until June. Come on guys, it’s a twenty minute session tops. “Should everyone have the same rights under the constitution of the United States?” “YES.” Very simple. I support gay rights, and you should, too.
